Our guide was Chanaka and he was very welcoming from the moment we arrived in Colombo Airport, nothing was too much trouble and he seemed to know everything and everyone in Sri Lanka – he was a fantastic guide nothing was too much trouble and his number 1 priority was ensuring we were happy and safe!

During a whole week we have been travelling in Sri Lanka. What a marvelous experience!! The country has so many beautiful places to discover and being guided by a local tour guide is a “must” We have been very lucky that Mr Roshan has been the one that showed us his country in a very professional way. Sri Lanka is known as the “smiling nation” and Mr Roshan showed it that every single day and eager to make us feel comfortable.

I would like to thank our guide Priyal for making our trip to Sri Lanka so brilliant. He was friendly, funny and always happy, even after a whole week with me and my family! Lasantha was a fantastic guide, picking us up each morning and taking us to our next destination, or on days off recommending local places to visit. His knowledge of the wildlife and birds on safari was fantastic!! Very professional, organised and friendly company. Would definitely use again and recommend to all.

On the first day out of Colombo our driver/guide met a friend of his (as he did most days). The friend told us our guide, Chanaka, was the best in Sri Lanka. Over the rest of our 14 day tour he proved he was tops. He was knowledgeable about everything we did and showed us so much we would not have found for ourselves. He soon picked up on our interest in wildlife. He would stop the car if he spotted for example an interesting bird. He had a very wide knowledge of them and could answer nearly all our questions. He was also keen to learn more and would come up with the answer the next day if he did not know straight away. He was a good companion and fun to be with. He took charge of every little detail and made our tour a delight.

My wife and I recently spent almost three weeks in Sri Lanka, most of that time being driven and guided by Roshan Dissanayake. He is a consistently knowledgeable, discreet and reassuring guide to a country which he loves very much. He is good company, takes control when necessary, but also knows when to be in the background. He smoothed over all the usual and unusual challenges which we faced, such as losing a credit card and suddenly wanting to take a train. We’ve had many guides around the world, but he would take a very high position among them. The same applies to his driving.
